
Keith Walcott
Vice President, STARS (Successful Teens Achieving Right Solutions)
VP & Director of Public Relations STARS Inc. Keith is a native of the South Bronx, NYC; he is prodigy of caring adults, tutors, and teachers, whom held him accountable. With steady progress and a growing feeling of accomplishment Keith completed high school, attended college, became a husband and father married, became a parent and enlisted in the U. S. Air Force. Prior to becoming the Vice President of STARS, Keith held the position of Public Relations, where he was very instrumental in introducing STARS to the Warner Robins community, through radio broadcasting and public speaking. As Vice President he is responsible for continued organizational branding and ethical leadership.
Prior to enlisting in the Air Force, Keith attended Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). He continued his education with Park College, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and Georgia Military College where he earn an Associate of Science Degree, and Georgia State Education Certification. He teaches the youth leadership skills commitment and dedication by setting the example, seen through maintaining and commitment to the STARS website and face book page.
Keith has traveled and lived at Pope AFB NC, Norton AFB, CA, McGuire AFB, NJ, and finally Moody AFB, Valdosta, GA. His overseas tour was accomplished in Rhein Main AB Germany where the family resided for 8 years. After 21 years of military service Keith retired becoming a Department of Defense Contractor for Raytheon Aerospace, and substitute teacher for the state of Georgia.
Keith’s love and passion for youth was born out of desire to give back to the community. He is the assistant editor of Celebrity Report Magazine, a source of information and guidance to young adults. He is a member of the Boy’s Youth Mentoring Organization at the Mildred Hunter Community Center located in Valdosta GA. Keith recently accepted the responsibility as Coordinator of the Save Our Students (SOS) Program also located in Valdosta, and a supporter of Rainbow Push Coalition, annual Youth Leadership, and Empowerment Conferences.
